Chef David Schwadron, founder, Co-Owner

For over 25 years, Chef David Schwadron has focused his energy on the ability to anticipate all of his clients’ needs for the perfect event. Chef David’s events have always included eclectic menus, creative libations, spectacular décor and impeccable service to create a unique, creative and fun experience for each and every guest.  His creativity comes from travelling the world and exploring diverse cultures and nationalities. Chef David has had the amazing honor of cooking for President and Mrs. Obama, President Bill Clinton, TV’s Food Network productions, as well as many corporate and social clients. Within Chef David’s quest for perfection, he has a firm belief in supporting many charitable causes and organizations in our community, including The Miami Children’s Museum, UM Medical School, The Children's Bereavement Center, and The Everglades Foundation.

 

Chef Aaron Dreilinger, Co-Owner 

Chef Aaron Dreilinger is partner and co-owner of Chef David Catering and Event Design, one of Miami’s premier gastronomic event planning enterprises. Originally a student of sustainable agriculture, Chef Aaron became drawn to nutrition and the culinary arts at a young age. His cuisine combines elements of American grass-roots ingredients, international influences, and old-world classical culinary tradition. Classically trained and a student of Johnson and Wales University, Chef Aaron draws from extensive travel in Southeast Asia, India, and Australia, while keeping strong ties with American Slow Food. Highlights of Chef Aaron’s career include Executive Chef of Celebrity Cruises, Sous Chef for Quattro Gastronomia, several Michelle Bernstein projects, and director of nonprofit Earth Learning Foundation’s Community Food Works. Accolades include Slow Food’s “Snail of Approval,” a handful of Presidential dinners, and work with Food Network productions. As co-owner of Chef David Catering, Chef Aaron prides himself in bringing restaurant quality cuisine beyond the confines of dining room walls. Strong ties to South Florida’s farm-to-table movement as well as Miami’s fine dining scene, make for a uniquely delicious background. This year Chef Aaron joins the board of Miami Slow Foods helping to spread farm to table and sustainable practices in South Florida. An artist and chef at heart, his food has been described as “simply complex, boldly understated, and tastefully elegant.”

Taylor donahue, senior Event Designer & Catering Coordinator

Taylor was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has come to love Miami, however for it's fashion, food, and exciting event scene. after receiving a degree in Political Science at Stetson University, Taylor decided to change paths once she planned her Sister's wedding. Taylor fell in love with the whole process. With a razor sharp attention to detail, her passion is piecing together specifics in order to create a cohesive bigger picture. Along with her talent for event planning, Taylor brings a dry sensor of humor and a playful sense of style to her work. Her focus on her clients is equally serious and dedication. She will be by your side every set of the way to help make your dream event come to fruition. 

Melissa Lopez, Event Designer & Catering Coordinator

Nine years ago, straight out of high school , Melissa began her journey in the hospitality industry, as she knew planning special events was the path for her.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Florida International University, while working her first job as a catering and event planner at a Crowne Plaza. She went on to work for Miccosukee Resort & Gaming for six years coordinating events for their Resort, Tribe, and Golf Course. At Miccosukee, Melissa had the luxury of planning a range of events, from weddings to music festival and LPGA and PGA tournament events. She coordinated and oversaw events for as little as 10 people to over 5,000. Fast forward to today, Melissa "couldn’t be happier to work for a ma’ & pa’ company where she designs events on every scale while nurturing an intimate relationship with our clients. "From beginning to end, I will assist you with all the details you desire for your event. I look forward to creating special memories for you!"
